Joel Edmondson Design Studio

Based in Brooklyn, my studio focuses on product design for preeminent furniture brands.  My practice is rooted in authentic design, whether realized for one of my brand partnerships or as part of my own collection.  My work is indicative of American modernism; expressive objects crafted from natural materials by artisans of fine furniture.  

I have over 15 years of product design and development experience with national brands including Denver Modern, Eastvold Furniture, Neighbor, and Consort Home among others.  In 2019, the Arches Bench was selected as a finalist for the NYCXDesign awards in the Emerging Designer category. 

I specialize in partnering with brands pre-launch to create their go-to-market product offering and brand strategy. This has lead to multiple brands reaching 10+ Million in annual revenue on my designs within the first 3 years. I have leveraged this success to offer my clients a full suite of services including product design and development, brand strategy, sourcing, and creative direction.
